The XXVI edition of the musical festival counts twelve events (six of classical music and six of jazz), divided among the eighteenth-hundred cloister of the Loreto Abbey, Piazza Municipio and Viale San Modestino. Three great national exlusives. The festival starts on July 4 with the Berliner Simphoniker Orchestra, it goes on with one of the most talented American jazz band, Gerard Clayton and its trio. The 12 july is the turn of modern music with the bluesman Joe Bonamassa. The festival ends with the orchestra Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzesi, a tribute of Irpinia to the victims of the earthquake. The orchestra is directed by the international piano star and maestro Ivo Pogorelich. The event is part of the cultural proposals of the "journey through creativity", created by Campania region.
