The Demo Site

The Teano Jazz Festival, born in 1993, is the oldest jazz music event in Campania. The start is on the 2nd of July with Furio Di Castri and his project Zapping, a sznthesis of the non conventional artists Fank Zappa and Thelonius Monk. Then the musical tribute of the Mingus Dynasty to the player from Nogales, Charlie Mingus (July 3rd). The David Sanborn Band and the trio composed by L. Coryell, J. De Francesco and Al Mouzon will be on stage the last two days reflecting the international aspect of the event. Also young artists with the Magicaboola Brass Band, 12 elements for a sound typical of the modern marchin' bands. Funk, jazz and blues mix together creating a sound where music and improvvisation are important, but embroiling the audience is even more important. The event is part of the cultural proposals of "journey through creativity", created by Campania Region.
