    Futurism is the 2009's edition of the Piedigrotta Feast, the most famous celebrations of Naples.
    One-hundred years have passed since Filippo Tommaso Marinetti's Manifesto on Futurism andn the sacred and profane Neapolitan traditions re-embraces the innovative movement of the nineteenth century. In program religious celebrations, light sceneries, music and theater shows, parades, firecrackers, exhibitions and congresses as well as the opening of the Neapolitan Crypta.
    In occasion of the event the italo-american director John Turturro will shoot around the city a movie on Neaplitan songs with the participation of Campania Region authorities and the Istituto Luce.
